Remember Me?

Haven't rode much, since the time change. Actually, today was the first time since a short levee ride just before. Rode along the river starting at Suck Creek road. Got past Pot Point and turned back. Round trip 18 miles. I think I am getting a head cold. My nose runs like a faucet, but little coughing (other than from drainage) and no fever. Even so, it probably wasn't a good idea to ride like that.

Well, just keeping this thing up to date.

Stay hydrated! Keep that cold at bay!

Tonight we take the tandem over White's Hill to go to Charlene's class. In the dark. Hopefully the rockfall on the shoulder will be light and we'll have a good feel for what it means to overdrive the headlight.

And deal with 3 times the previous distance.

Hi Worm! Guess who has a blog now. I'm shy, so bear with me. Anyhow, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Okay, it's been a month now. Surely you have at least moved that bike or looked a little more at getting another one.

Tell me about it. Lot's of "should'ves" but no, I haven't ridden. The last two weekends have been partly taken up by helping mom & dad move, and partly by general apathy. Weekdays are out, since it is dark when I leave work. This weekend doesn't look much better. I am planning on taking the mountain bike to NC with me for new years and riding some on Cedar Mountain, though.

I still haven't made up my mind what kind of bike I want or exactly what I am willing to spend. Too many choices.
